Has anyone on here ever undertook the NEBOSH generai parts 12 & 3?.
I'm finding it dificult to remember so much information and i have my re-sit on 16 December.

Thanks everyone for your input. Was on the sauce last night so only just seen the replies.
I think I am going to take up darts as that's seems easier.

I passed in 2007 and found it easier having no experience of H&S to start with, only 2 out of 8 in our group passed and I couldn't understand why, it just seemed like common sense and remembering procedures and legislations etc.
Things like ERIC and his PPE help you to remember.
Our HR manager failed twice too.
Just revise massively and you'll piss it.

MIne took two weeks of classes and two days (one full, one part) of exams.

I spent £70 and demanded a re assessment on my score. I was a point off....ended up with a merit on the recount. ( and an apology)
Was circa 2007 though.

Missed part two (Workplace hazards by a single point the first time round) and part three (NEBOSH practical) by four points the bastards!!.

You can get the Revision Guide for around a tenner.
Top Tip
Examiners will not assume you know what you are talking about if you get certain points wrong due to poor spelling or missing figures out check what you write before submitting.
Example you posted

We all assume you meant general parts 12 & 13 however every examiner i've met will not assume anything and are pedantic to say the least.
If you are a borderline fail this error could make all the difference

Rio, how long was your course and did yo complete all 3 parts (1, 2 & 3) ?.

Requirement at work at my last firm.
Can't say I enjoyed it, but we did have a massive piss up every night which wasn't too bad.
Seem to remember discovering Vodkatinis on that couse.

They just showed me the controls and said off you go, no H&S at all, mind you, this was in America over 30 years ago, things might have changed now?

Yes indeed. You can imagine my delight discovering all the differnt parts of a scaffold towerand the 20 things that can occur to cause a forklift truck to topple over.
Load of shite.

Not that hard??? - Less than 25% of people pass all three parts first time.
